$35 a month will enable a child to get an education that would otherwise be unavailable to them. The duties of the sponsor include praying for your child, paying their school fees, and writing letters to encourage their hearts. This is a relationship that is often as encouraging to the sponsor as it is to the child!
We are committed to education on all levels, because as Pastor Herbert has shared “It is the only way to break the chain of poverty”. These efforts have included developing school facilities and providing support to our teachers for their needs, as well as gifting school supplies, uniforms, calculators, laptops, and other educational tools.
The rice and beans fund was established because so many of our families were suffering from malnutrition. Whatever comes in to this fund each month is sent to Uganda specifically for food for those who need it the most. Our team in Uganda purchases rice, beans, fruits and vegetables and distributes them as needed. This has become a life provision for many!
Our construction fund seeks to identify & tackle the greatest infrastructure needs of our ministry. This has included our House of Hope (a 3 family housing unit), our Victory House (housing for our teachers close to the school & also a boarding section for our kids), and Victory Primary School (much needed kitchen, bathrooms and classroom space).
The scholarship fund fills in the gap between the child’s sponsorship money and the cost of vocational school or university. This fund allows our kids the opportunity to extend their educational pursuits & become self-sufficient adult professionals. We are committed to training the future leaders of Uganda!
We are committed to partnering with our team in Uganda to reach the members of their communities with the love of Jesus. This has included a yearly Christmas celebration, an outreach to the overworked and underpaid police officers, and an outpouring of love and food on Christmas Eve to those who would have nothing to feed their families for Christmas dinner.
