Our long term vision of having our own secondary school has moved one step closer to reality. God has provided the first $30k that we needed by the end of March for the downpayment on ten acres of land near our Victory Farm!
Our team in Uganda has located a parcel of land that they believe would be ideal for our long term goal of building a secondary school. This property is very near to our farmland and we have long hoped to integrate the school and the farmland for educational purposes. It is a 10 acre plot that is being sold for $4850 per acre. We will need $30k of that by the end of March, and then will have until the end of the year to pay the reminding $18,500. We have students in several different secondary schools, and it would be a huge blessing to be able to continue to invest in our primary students as they continue in the next stage of their journey.
