“Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you. Show me the way I should go, for to you I lift up my soul.” Psalm 143:8
For our students in Uganda, these February mornings have brought the start of a new school year. The Ugandan school calendar starts in February and ends in November, with three school terms and a three week break between each term. Currently, our Victory Primary School has 253 students enrolled! Here are a few of our V127 students who are attending Victory Primary School.

Pray for our students as they are adjusting to a new year, many of them in a new school. The transition can be very difficult. They are very grateful for your prayers, your love, and your encouragement.
Construction Project Update
Our bakery is taking shape and the workers are currently tiling the walls, painting, and working on the floors. We are very excited about the potential of this bakery to hire some of our graduates, and even to provide bread for our school! Thank you to those of you who are praying and supporting this project.
Here’s our Judith, one of the engineers on site, giving us a video update on the construction progress. We are getting close to smelling something delicious coming from our bakery!
I shared with you a couple of months ago that our team in Uganda has located a parcel of land that they believe would be ideal for our long term goal of building a secondary school. This property is very near to our farmland and we have long hoped to integrate the school and the farmland for educational purposes. It is a 10 acre plot that is being sold for $4850 per acre. We will need $30k of that by the end of March, and then will have until the end of the year to pay the reminding $18,500. God has already provided $25k of the $30k immediate need! We have students in several different secondary schools, and it would be a huge blessing to be able to continue to invest in our primary students as they continue in the next stage of their journey. Thank you for praying for continued wisdom & guidance in this project. If you would like to contribute, you can do so at v127.org/give.
Finally, I wanted to share an excerpt from an inspiring letter from one of our students, Shibah Nakazibwe. Shibah lost her father in a car accident when she was young, and when she came to us, her mother was jobless and homeless. Shibah is very bright and beautiful in every way.

She wrote to her sponsors…”Thank you so much for the gifts you gave me, I really loved them so much. Your generosity has not only changed my life, but has also given me hope for a brighter future. I am truly grateful for the opportunity to pursue my education and I owe it all to you. Your kindness has gone beyond financial support and has given me confidence to chase my dreams, and the motivation to push myself beyond limits. Your investment in my education is an investment in someone who is determined to make a difference in this world.”
We have no doubt you will, Shibah! ❤️
Much Love,
Jan
