Humbled, overwhelmed, and oh so grateful!
Thank you so much to each of you who have prayed and given to our 2024 Christmas in Uganda project. This year, God has provided a total of $51,016! Wow. Thank you for your generosity. It is so exciting to think about the plans that God has for this offering. Pray with us that many souls will be saved and people will see Jesus as they are blessed with gifts of food. Our children will also be overjoyed to receive Christmas gifts; many for first time!
Speaking of joy…this is our Maria Aliru with Noeline, one of our administrators:
We are also grateful that we now have two more vocational school graduates! Both Phionah & Angel have earned a two year certificate in catering and hotel management. We are so proud of these young women! Phionah’s story is especially poignant. She comes from a Muslim family and when she heard the gospel and received Christ at 11 years old, she was kicked out of the family and left to fend for herself on the streets. One of the women at Victory Covenant Church took her in, God provided a sponsor, and we were able to get her into school. She has worked so hard to make the most of the opportunity she has been given. Both of these young women are “trophies of grace”. As you look at the first pictures we received of them, and now their graduation photos, you see how God is truly changing lives, one child at a time.

Finally, V127 has a new grandbaby! Joshua (Pastor Herbert’s son and one of our V127 administrators), and his wife Julie (one of our former V127 students and our resident civil engineer), just welcomed their first child. Meet Deacon Jesse Buyondo! What a blessed little one to have Joshua & Julie as parents! Please pray for them all as we celebrate the arrival of little Deacon Jesse.

As we approach Thanksgiving and get together with our families, may gratitude be the focus of all of our gatherings.
“Do not be deceived, my dear brothers and sisters. Every good and perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of the heavenly lights, who does not change like shifting shadows.” James 1:16-17
We are so grateful for God’s many gifts to us, and grateful for each one of you.
Don’t forget to pray for your child today.
Much Love,
Jan
